Words of Pastor Greg Pope, Crescent Hill Baptist Church

Pope

"It has been my experience in reading and in conversations with those on the margin of the church or outside the church altogether that they do not stay away out of disdain for Jesus and the church, God and the gospel. For many, they have questions that they do not feel they can ask in church without being condemned."

"They are questions you've probably heard before. You may even have asked some of them yourself. They're not easy to answer, but they merit conversation."

"And, I don't think the people who ask them are necessarily looking for easy answers. They just want a safe place where they can ask the questions. What about you? What are your questions? Are you looking for a place to ask them?

"It is my prayer that this church will be such a place...A place where there's plenty of room for questions and no one is required to memorize anyone else's answers."
