Rev. Baynard F. Fox (d.1-31-82...71yo)
Thelma Shaw Fox, (deceased 9-29-88, age 78) former member of CHBC, wife of Baynard F. Fox, Thelma first joined Crescent Hill as a 12 year old girl in 1922 during the pastorate of Dr. Charles Graham. Except for the few years that Baynard pastored churches in the early 1940's, she was a member until 1964 upon moving to Dallas, Texas. She served as circle chairman, Sunday School teacher, WMU president, and GA leader throughout the years.
Rev. Baynard L. Fox, (deceased 10-9-82, age 50) former member of CHBC, minister of music in churches in KY, AL, and GA. Composer of many published Christian songs, among them “I'll Tell the World That I'm A Christian”—included in the 1991 edition of The Baptist Hymnal and also in many other hymnals. (Add obituary from Atlanta paper) Looking for it! Will send when I locate it.
