Over the last few months, many of our members have provided photos of serious and of fun events at our church. Below are brief descriptions and links to some of the slide shows featuring those photos.

While traveling we visited a Japanese garden in Rockford IL. This is a peaceful place giving one many opportunities to relax and meditate. Here are some photos I took. (May load slowly over dialup connections)

Brian Bunger sent photos from the celebration of Bill Johnson's 25 years with us August 19th.

Good shots of the cakes and a very nice one of Bill and his grandson, Jake.

Karen Scott sent the following photos of Bob and Roxanne Hieb's sunflowers, the

Birchwood Entrance, and Fellowship Hall with new floor and ceiling. (Repeated)

 

Brian Bunger provided the following photos, one of the Perkins' 40th anniversary, several of the art exhibit, and several of the youth returning home.

 

Karen Scott sent eight photos from the art exhibit, too. These are very nice!

 

Karen Scott provided photos and the following commentary regarding the folks who turned out to tear out the old tile floor in Fellowship Hall last Saturday. The volunteers included friends from the Highland Latin School and 12 Karen.

Karen Scott also provided three sets of photos from the recent "Taking it to the Streets" events. The worship service on the front lawn, the cooks preparing lunch, and many, many of us enjoying the meal and fellowship.

Brian Bunger sent these photos. There are two of Glenn Hinson speaking, and various shots of our own and Karen children in Sunday School, preparing to process on Palm Sunday, singing in the Children's Choir, and two group photos of our Karen visitors on the front steps.

Sara Jo Hooper forwarded some photos Andy Rawls took at the Santa Sprint and Stroll on Frankfort Ave. She said there are some great shots of CHBC people, including "the most svelte Santa Claus the world has ever known",
